Sora Sweet Reads is a free summer reading program designed to encourage students to keep reading all year long. SORA is offering a collection of free and simultaneous use juvenile and young adult ebooks (and select audiobooks). These titles will be prominently displayed in SORA so it’s easy for students to find their next sweet read (May 15 - August 28).

ANNUAL SERVICE PLAN AND ANNUAL BUDGET PLAN FOR 2023-2024

CVUHSD has a SPECIAL Board Meeting on May 11th, 2023. This meeting will be in-person at the District Board Room starting at 4:30PM.

The last AAPAC meeting of this academic year will be hosted by CVUHSD in the district office Board Room. Meeting starts at 6pm and food will be served. Hope to see you there.

The SSC provides all stakeholders at a school the opportunity to play a role in the decision-making on how to spend categorical funds to supplement the instructional programs of the school. These stakeholders include: parents, students, classified staff, certificated staff, and the principal.

The CVUHSD monthly Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 9th 2023 at the CVUHSD Board Room. Open Session begins at 5:00 pm.

The Hawthorne High Counseling Department invites students and families to
get information about navigating the college systems at the four-year universities and community colleges. Together we can ensure that your student has a successful first year of college!
